Health and Safety Training

Each course is designed to meet the needs of the individual clients. It is intended that the delegate on this course is empowered to manage safety.

Course Content / syllabus

The course is one day duration consisting of interactive classroom work carrying out theoretical and practical study. At the end of the course delegates will be given a work based project to carry out and return to us once completed. This course has modules covering.

Is the course assessed?

There are assessments at the end of the course and delegates should be prepared to do some work outside the classroom. The assessments consist of a workplace project, which is undertaken in the delegates workplace and a report rendered to GK Safety on completion.

A certificate is issued upon successful completion.

Risk Assessment Training

Risk Assessment in Health and Safety
(DSE, COSHH, General, Noise, Vibration, Management and others)

No prior knowledge is required. This qualification is designed to enable employers to assess risk and put in place suitable control measures. This will ensure that all employees are aware of their own safety and the safety of customers, contractors and the public. It is applicable in any private or public sector environment.

This is a 4 – 6 hour course where you will learn risk assessment procedures through practical based lectures the principles of occupational health and safety risk assessment and how to apply this in the workplace.
